With an office in Centre of Bath, this firm is a busy office, so the successful candidate must be self-motivated, conscientious and have excellent attention to detail.
This key role will be responsible for supporting the client services team in all aspects of pre and
post advice transactions.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Preparation of dealing instructions following receipt of signed client paperwork.
Preparation of letters of authority for new clients, requesting policy information.
Placing of trades on our preferred investment platforms.
Assist with the preparation and checking of client compliance information to include
completing client applications, ensuring file is fully updated as per Belgrave procedures and processes.
Preparation, completion and checking of client paperwork, to include application forms, disclosure documentation and letters of authority, required to accompany financial planning reports and other client correspondence.
Update existing and logging new client information on IRESS.
Assist with preparing client files for meetings.
Working with the client services team to ensure client records are updated in preparation of issuing quarterly valuation reports.
Create, amend, update and close individual client reminders.
On occasion answering the telephone and actioning client requests as appropriate.
Create, amend/and or deal with client letters either acknowledging their requests or answering their queries.
Dealing with day-to-day administration and post, to include liaising with product providers, updating client files and any other aspects relating to the advice process administration. Following up of such requests and logging information when received.
Attend and participate in all personal structured training plans, personal development reviews including appraisals, to ensure personal development.
ABOUT YOU
Office experience in a financial services environment
Some knowledge of pension and investment products
Appreciation of the role of financial advisers and para-planners
IT skills to include a working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
A working knowledge of IRESS (ideal but not essential)
Strong level of numeracy with a strong level of attention to detail
Good listener and able to take instruction
Good interpersonal and communication, both oral and written, skills
Strong customer service orientation skills
Enjoy working as part of a team.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Mathematics GCSE or equivalent at grade C or above
English GCSE or equivalent at grade C or above
Ideally, have or be working towards the Certificate in Financial Services
Adviser Support Administrator, Bath (NT-1898)
