Job brief
As HR Manager you will be responsible for assisting with the recruitment process, including liaising with recruitment agencies, potential candidates and internal teams. The position is a full-time role and will be offered on a fixed term basis for one year.
Responsibilities
Assisting with the recruitment and onboarding of new employees (including KYE processes)
Overseeing the completion of annual fitness assessments
Working with compliance to ensure the company meets its SMCR obligations.
Developing programmes that enhance employee relations
Ensuring employees have correct pay and benefits (holiday, sick and maternity pay)
Delivering compensation and benefit comparison reports to the executive team
Promoting equality, health and safety within the company
Ensuring that company employment policies follow national laws and regulations.
Recording and processing confidential information
Recording payroll data in the company’s software system
Issuing P45s and other necessary tax forms
Answering employee questions about payroll
Maintaining compliant policies and procedures
Deducting tax and national insurance payments
Requirements
Previous exposure to Bank back-office Operations
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
Advanced MS Excel skills
The ability to operate with urgency and prioritise work accordingly
