We are delighted to represent this independently owned Chartered firm of Financial Planners who are seeking an Administrator to join their busy team.
Job Role
Working in collaboration with Financial Planners, Paraplanners and other colleagues, you will maintain and manage client records, process life, pension and investment new business, answer and deal with telephone enquiries, prepare valuations and other letters, and issue all correspondence in line with company policy.
Key Responsibilities
Input data on Customer back-office system and manage client records in an orderly fashion using relevant systems.
Ensure client information on internal systems is maintained and up to date in order to meet general compliance standards
Ensure that all compliance paperwork is present and in order
Prepare application forms and paperwork for clients to complete
Process and manage new business and servicing through to completion. Chase progress of applications; alerting Financial Planners to any issues arising and keeping clients up to date with any progress
Make changes to clients’ investments as instructed by paraplanners or planners
Prepare client portfolio valuations and review documents
Prepare and dispatch reports
Regular meetings with Paraplanner and Planner to discuss work in progress
Ad-hoc project work
About You and Your Key Skills
One or two years’ experience in an Financial Services administrative role and ideally from within a Financial Planning office
Excellent numeracy and literacy skills, GCSE grades A - C (or 4 - 9)
Computer Skills – competent in the use of relevant packages including Word and Excel
Excellent attention to detail, good organisation and time management skills
A critical thinker and a good problem solver
Good communication skills both face to face and over the phone
An ability to work under own initiative and as a team player
Understanding of the provision of advice to clients in a compliant manner
