Our nationwide client is a leading provider of Wealth Management and Employee Benefit Services who pride themselves in building long-term relationships to provide trusted advice, high standards, and a personalised delivery who are seeking a Financial Services Administrator to join our Wealth Management Team in Oldbury. This is a hybrid role; the successful applicant will be working from the office with the opportunity to work from home once training is complete.

OVERVIEW
As a Financial Services Administrator you will be responsible for managing and administering a portfolio of SIPP, SSAS and personal clients. You will be working with a team of Client Relationship Managers in assisting advisers in the proactive management of our clients’ financial affairs - within agreed procedures and regulations. As a Developing Client Relationship Manager, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service and administrative support to both internal and external stakeholders. 

THE ROLE: 

  • Develop and maintain good working relations with internal and external contacts
  • Plan, organise and prioritise workload to be completed within agreed service standards
  • Regularly improve knowledge and gain a comprehensive understanding of employee benefits and associated legislation
  • Proactively support colleagues, clients, and financial advisers in a prompt and efficient manner
  • Work closely with the consultants to support and ensure clients’ needs are met
  • Work closely with colleagues in the team and make an active contribution to the section/business unit
  • Attend training sessions, maintain own training files, and develop relevant knowledge and skills

ABOUT YOU

  • 5 GCSE’s grade A – C including Maths and English
  • Understanding of financial services and SSAS/SIPP pension schemes
  • Experience working in financial services industry
  • Excellent customer service skills and attention to detail excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate clearly and precisely, both verbally and in writing at all levels
  • Organised approach with the ability to prioritise workload and remain flexible in a fast-paced environment
