Role and responsibilities
We are currently supporting an independently owned Wealth Management firm who are on the lookout for a Paraplanner to join them. As an experienced Paraplanner, you will have excellent knowledge of the industry and comfortable providing a high level of technical paraplanning.
Reporting to the paraplanning team leader, the role includes production of cash flow models and high-quality suitability reports.
Responsibilities:
Analyse client information and existing investments/policies
Tax calculations
Construct appropriate solutions for clients and make recommendations in conjunction with the advisers
Write suitability reports for cases of varying complexity
Run cashflow models for clients
Be a point of contact for technical queries
Communicating with clients on research and report time scales
Attend client meetings where required and help train other members of the team
Potentially getting involved in project work to further improve systems and processes
Leading Pod meetings
Undertake peer reviews for the paraplanning team
About you:
Demonstrate a strong technical knowledge and understanding of all financial products
Be level 4 diploma qualified, ideally working towards Chartered status
Have a minimum of 3 years’ experience within a paraplanning role
Strong IT skills; experience of using industry software such as FE Analytics, Voyant and Curo
Have a good attention to detail and be a good team player
Excellent communication skills, both verbally and in writing
Be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
Be organised and able to manage a busy workload
Salary and Benefits:
The salary is £35,000 – £45,000 depending on experience
