The Opportunity
This role will require a highly organised individual to provide the Advisers with full administrative support. The individual will be trained on both Pre-Sale (Servicing) and Post-Sale (Processing) administrative tasks to enable them to provide the full end to end support
The key functions of the role are to deliver an efficient and effective support service to the Adviser, while providing an excellent service to the client.
Principle Tasks:
Pre-Sale (Servicing)
- Dealing with adhoc queries from Advisers/Clients/Providers
- Tasks to be recorded and maintained via back office systems
- Maintenance of client files
- Processing Letters of Authority
- Valuations
- Liaise with 3rd Party Providers & Paraplanners
- Preparing Client Meeting Packs
- Gather quotes / illustrations / Fact Sheets / Order Projections
- Booking Client Review Appointments & Managing Adviser’s diary
- Print & Bind Client Suitability Reports
- Process Client Withdrawals
Post-Sale (Processing)
- Tasks to be recorded and maintained via back office systems
- Maintenance of client files through application stage
- New business processing (Online/Post) via Provider platforms and portals
- Loading relevant data on to CRM database
- Update Adviser & Client of progress on New Business cases
- Maintenance of all client policy data & associated income expectancies
Skills
- Good communication skills, both oral and written
- Excellent planning and organisational skills
- Accurate keyboard skills
- Excellent accuracy skills and attention to detail
- An excellent team player with an adaptable and flexible approach to work
- Ability to build and develop effective working relationships at all levels
Knowledge & Experience
- RO exams or similar preferred but not essential
- Basic knowledge of regulatory requirements
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office
- A good knowledge and understanding of a wide range of financial products,
- A proven track record in delivering excellent client satisfaction gained from within a Financial Planning environment
