Salary, Employee Benefits and Working Practices:
Office based full-time role, 09:00 am to 17:00 pm, Monday to Thursday 8.30 am to 16.30 pm, Friday
Salary range: £23,000 to £27,000 dependent on knowledge and experience

Role Overview:
To provide a quality administration service in respect of a portfolio of SIPPs (both SIPP Focus and other arrangements serviced by the SIPP team)
To provide technical and administrative support to the Financial Planner
To maintain records that meet the requirements of the firm and the regulator
To provide an in-house point of contact for the client
To maintain good working relationships with clients, other SIPP team members and Financial Planners
Main Tasks:
The overall focus of the role will be to manage a portfolio of clients with Self Invested Personal Pensions (SIPPs), the main tasks being to:
Qualifications:
At or working towards Diploma in Financial Planning, CII or equivalent advantageous
Other Financial services experience, in a similar role, ideally for a Financial Adviser firm.
Knowledge and Skills:
Knowledge of the services that the firm provides to clients
Knowledge of the SSAS, SIPP and associated products.
Good technical knowledge of SIPPs and their use in financial planning
Knowledge of other financial services legislation relevant to the role
Ability to communicate effectively with clients, actuaries, accountants, Pension Trustees, the Revenue and other professional connections via various methods – phone, letter, e-mail, memo, etc
Knowledge of in-house money laundering procedures relevant to the role and individual responsibilities in this area
Knowledge of Data Protection legislation relevant to role
Knowledge of IT systems and programmes relevant to the role
Ability to work within the level of authority and to refer work when appropriate
Ability to create and maintain accurate and tidy paper and computer-based records
IT / keyboard skills
Good telephone manner
Good letter and report writing skills
Good, broad, knowledge of financial services in general
