This is an independent, directly authorised Financial Planning firm who give advice to individuals and corporate businesses.

The highly qualified Advisers have many years’ experience providing advice across retirement planning, investments, personal and business protection, long term care, mortgage and equity release.

Purpose of the role

To provide full pre-and post-sales support to the Financial Advisers to provide a comprehensive service to clients and ensure that client satisfaction is confirmed and exceeded every time

This is a non-client facing position where tasks include preparing and administrating a Financial Plan and completing reports for clients

Skills and knowledge

• A technical and detailed knowledge of pensions, investment, and protection products
• Attention to quality and accuracy
• Excellent inter-personal skills, both written and verbal, is an essential
• Able to demonstrate excellent report writing skills
• Client focussed at all times
• IT competent - MS Office, Internet, PowerPoint
• Full FPC (or equivalent) and working towards Diploma in Financial Planning
• Effective time management

Responsibilities

• Love the industry! You’ll keep up to date with new products, technical or legislative changes within the marketplace
• Attend provider seminars where required
• Prepare recommendations and maintenance of client files
• Support the Adviser in research to identify suitable products to meet clients' needs using all available resources (Synaptic, Exchange, Money Marketing, existing client information, Broker meetings etc.)
• From a completed fact find, collate all the relevant quantitative detailed information required to compile a financial planning report
