As part of a small team, you will play a key role in supporting the Head of Mortgages and two qualified advisers.
This is an office based role.
Key Responsibilities and Duties
Handling inbound and outbound calls.
Inputting all new mortgages cases on Intelligent Office system
Keeping all mortgage cases updated.
Maintain client records and update Client info to keep an effective audit trail.
Maintaining expected commission payments and following up due payments with the lenders, third parties, and clients
Processing client fees and raising invoices.
Dealing with inbound and outbound post.
Producing any correspondence as and when required.
Completing Client ID checks with referrals to the Compliance team.
Collate and check Client documents ready for the Advisers to submit mortgage applications.
First port of call for Lenders, Insurance Companies, Solicitors and Clients to ensure a smooth Client journey and to keep all parties moving towards mortgage completion.
Booking and maintaining Client appointments.
Ensuring acceptance terms and mortgage offers received as promptly as possible and checking these against application/illustration.
Electronic filing of Client correspondence and all other relevant documentation.
Provide a weekly update of Advisor pipeline which will include fees to be paid.
Provide a weekly update of each Advisor’s cases outlining where each case currently sits within the process and expected timelines for completion.
Build strong working relationships with all Colleagues across the business in order to successfully collaborate to ensure a smooth workflow and effective communication.
Provide support and assistance to other team members to ensure tasks are completed on schedule and deadlines are met.
Undertake project work and additional duties as and when required.
Act in accordance with Compliance procedures and FCA Regulations at all times to ensure regulatory requirements and company policies are correctly followed.
Work with your line manager to create a personal development plan and agree CPD activity.
About You
Experience of working with Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint, or similar tools.
Ability to work well under pressure using your own initiative, on your own as well as part of a team.

Previous experience of working in similar role with a full understanding of the house buying and mortgage process.
