Our client is an established (22 years) independently owned directly authorised independent financial adviser (IFA). The firm meets a wide spectrum of client needs and deliver an outstanding holistic financial planning service. They are a small focussed and committed unit always looking to improve their advice quality and their level of service Principal.
Salary £32,000.00 to £34,500.00 + profit share paid monthly up to £3,500.00 pa

The role
- To work closely with other staff members to ensure the smooth running of client administrative functions this includes processing new business, supporting the financial advisory process and liaising with external providers regarding new and existing clients

- Accurate and efficient processing of all business applications
- Liaising with financial services product providers

Key responsibilities and Accountabilities
- Check accuracy and completeness of new business documentation
- Ensure that all business applications are processed accurately and efficiently in a compliant manner as per our procedures and standards
- Ensure that all supporting documentation is maintained as per our procedures
- Ensure all work is followed up promptly and accurate records are kept
- Liaise with product providers and other relevant third parties to ensure timely and accurate responses to clients (progress chase)
- Send letters of authority and gather accurate and appropriate information
- Obtain illustrations and application forms
- Arranging portfolio applications
- Processing and recording new business
- Client Servicing
- Provide a friendly and professional point of contact for clients and enquiries
- Create and maintain accurate client records on back-office systems and other IT systems
- Prepare client documentation and correspondence pre and post meetings as per advice process
- General administration
- Answering telephones
- Ensure back-office systems are kept up to date
- Filter general information accordingly queries phone calls and invitations
- Open scan and log and allocate incoming post
- General Correspondence
- Other office duties where directed
About you:
- 3 years administrative experience preferably in an IFA practice
- Professional qualifications a bonus
- Preferred Degree any discipline 2:1 and above
- Preferred good A levels 2 B's
- Must be confident with IT
- Able to demonstrate their suitability for the position
