This is a great opportunity to join a dynamic Chartered Financial Planning firm in a role supporting the Platform team
Role Overview
To be responsible for providing platform administration supporting colleagues and clients - specifically managing client transfers and transactional processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Accountable for monitoring internal and external mailboxes and managing queries through to completion.
- Accountable for providing support and answering queries via platform helpline for external clients
- Supporting with transactional processing and technical queries.
- Keeping clients regularly updated on the progress of outstanding transactions and managing any technical queries directly with the external platform provider.
- Responsible for processing Third Party Letter of Authority requests within agreed SLAs.
- Responsible for processing platform accounts Exits and Death notifications tracking and supporting closures through to completion, within agreed SLAs
- Reviewing platform accounts and data reports, specifically Cash Reporting, on a regular basis, identifying discrepancies and supporting with any necessary action needed
- Issuing Quarterly/Tax Statements and transactional SIPP documentation to Clients,
- Monitoring, and escalating Platform client transfers following agreed procedures.
- Maintaining data on the Back Office system in line with the company processes
- Online Trading support for other company platforms for money movements and investing regular contributions.
- Cash Account monitoring and reporting.
About You
Essential Requirements
- Experience in an administrative role within Financial Services.
- Experience of working in a small to medium sized financial services environment.
- Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint, or similar tools.
- Desire to deliver exceptional service at all times and strong focused approach to achieving the best outcome for the client and the business.
- Ability to consistently deliver within service standards.
- Strong organisational skills, flexible and proactive approach to getting the job done.
- Strong interpersonal skills, both written and verbal communication.
- Excellent accuracy and attention to detail.
- Proven ability to work on own initiative.
Desirable Requirements
- Experience of working with Investment Wrap Platforms
- Experience of monitoring and processing Platform cash levels and trading
- Experience of using back-office and ticketing systems
- Experience of working in an environment of significant change
