Our nationwide client is a leading provider of Wealth Management and Employee Benefit Services who pride themselves in building long-term relationships to provide trusted advice, high standards, and a personalised delivery who are seeking an experienced, engaging, and confident Financial Adviser looking for a Home/Office Desk Based Financial Adviser opportunity. 

OVERVIEW
Reporting to a Team Director, the successful candidate will provide a proactive, personal service to our clients at all times, ensuring they receive accurate information and are advised on the products that meet their individual requirements and circumstances. 

THE ROLE: 

  • Providing technical and investment advice on all aspects of client’s requirements and wealth management planning
  • Creating and maintaining long-term client relationships, through quality of service and advice
  • Obtaining a full understanding of clients’ current circumstances and provisions together with future aims, to then research and communicate appropriate options
  • Preparing, reviewing, and updating letters, proposals and reports with attention given to the client’s risk management position
  • Communicate information to clients in a manner appropriate for their particular level of understanding
  • Providing clients with information on new and existing products and services
  • Reviewing clients’ financial affairs on an annual basis and advise them on strategic planning and investment advice, as well as explaining the potential benefits and disadvantages of various products
  • Regarding the needs of vulnerable clients, ensuring appropriate steps are taken to protect their interests
  • Maintaining own knowledge of current affairs and the potential impact on client issues
  • You will also be expected to adhere to compliance procedures and comply with the regulations of the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA).

ABOUT YOU

  • Highly driven, self-motivated, good initiative and a good team player
  • Level 4 Diploma qualifiied in Financial Planning
  • Minimum of six months’ experience in a financial consultant capacity 
  • Full understanding of pensions and wealth management planning solutions is essential
  • Able to research, analyse and interpret technical information
  • Possess excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Excellent literacy, numeracy, and IT skills
  • Able to convey complex information to a wide variety of people with various levels of understanding, both written and verbally
  • Ethical and professional approach to work
