The Role
An opportunity for an experienced administrator to join the Financial Planning department within the Client Review unit. You will be responsible for providing accurate valuation reports based on client portfolios in preparation for consultant meetings, and ensuring that all information is entered on their Client Database system.
Key Responsibilities
- To live and breathe their purpose and values
- Compiling valuation and review packs for consultant presentations, checking accuracy with balances and transactions
- Contacting investment companies for up to date figures and data gathering
- Entering details onto Intelligent Office Client Database system and ensuring they are kept up to date and accurate
- Providing office support with telephones, post and other correspondence
- Communicating with clients, taking messages and setting up meetings as required
- Daily review of Work in Progress list and progressing client work jobs, keeping Consultant up to date on progress
- Scanning/filing all relevant documents/paperwork (paperless office system)
- Covering for colleagues when necessary (holiday/sickness cover or excessive workload)
- Maintaining spreadsheets to record business progress
Skills and Experience Required
- For you to be service focused, offering great client care, especially over the phone
- Ideally at least 2-3 years previous experience in a financial planning administration role
- Great communication skills, and the ability to work within a team
- Organisation and prioritisation skills
- Confidence in using IT software. Experience of using Intelligent Office client database/back office system would be welcomed
